Peter Townshend’s tale of a young boy’s journey from
pain to triumph is the most electrifying evening of rock and roll ever
to play in a theatre!
After witnessing the accidental murder of
his mother's lover by his father, Tommy is traumatized into catatonia,
and as the boy grows, he suffers abuse at the hands of his sadistic
relatives and neighbors. As an adolescent, he’s discovered to have an
uncanny knack for playing pinball, and when his mother finally breaks
through his catatonia, he becomes an international pinball superstar.

MID-LIFE! The Crisis Musical
SYNOPSIS:
With a balanced look at the “joys” of growing older, through a cast of three men and three women, MID-LIFE! strikes a chord with anyone regardless of age. A series of scenes and sketches poke fun at the frustrations of mammograms, love handles, weekend warriors and proctology exams. The cleverly crafted songs celebrate forgetfulness, reading glasses and menopause but also touch on the sentimental wisdom that the later years afford us. MID-LIFE! Is a hilarious romp with an honest humor about the trials and tribulations of the unavoidable aging process. Welcome to MID-LIFE!
CAST:
3 Men and 3 Women.
Strong Character actors needed of all shapes and sizes.
Various Vocal Ranges.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the subject material of the show, a certain physical “look” or “type” of actor and actress is needed for the authenticity of this production. If you are fortunate enough to not “look” old enough for the appropriate age for the songs and sketches, unfortunately you cannot be considered. (Translation – if you look under the age of 30 you will probably not be able to be cast. Sorry.)

When Elwood P. Dowd starts to introduce his imaginary friend, Harvey, a six-and-a-half-foot rabbit, to guests at a society party, his sister, Veta, has seen as much of his eccentric behavior as she can tolerate. She decides to have him committed to a sanitarium to spare her daughter, Myrtle Mae, and their family from future embarrassment. Problems arise, however, when Veta herself is mistakenly assumed to be on the verge of lunacy when she explains to doctors that years of living with Elwood's hallucination have caused her to see Harvey also! The doctors commit Veta instead of Elwood, but when the truth comes out, the search is on for Elwood and his invisible companion. When he shows up at the sanitarium looking for his lost friend Harvey, it seems that the mild-mannered Elwood's delusion has had a strange influence on more than one of the doctors. Only at the end does Veta realize that maybe Harvey isn't so bad after all.

Based on Sam Raimis 80s cult classic films, EVIL DEAD tells the tale of 5 college kids who travel to a cabin in the woods and accidentally unleash an evil force. And although it may sound like a horror, it's not! The songs are hilariously campy and the show is bursting with more farce than a Monty Python skit. EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL unearths the old familiar story: boy and friends take a weekend getaway at abandoned cabin, boy expects to get lucky, boy unleashes ancient evil spirit, friends turn into Candarian Demons, boy fights until dawn to survive. As musical mayhem descends upon this sleepover in the woods, camp takes on a whole new meaning.
