Auditioning and Theatre Basics

Date: July 7 - 11, 2008
Time: 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Fee: $60.00
Description: Learn all the ins and outs of auditioning, cold readings, call backs, proper etiquette, how to accept or decline a part and other essential parts of auditioning. Each participant will learn an audition piece to perform in front of an audience during the last day of camp.
Ages: 8 - 18

Improvisation and Building a Character

Date: July 21 - 25, 2008
Time: 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

Description: Learn how to build a character for a play and improve improvisation techniques as well as work on a piece for the final performance in front of an audience the last day of camp.
Ages: 8 - 18

Description: How to land the role or just walk out of an audition feeling good about yourself. Finding and Building a Character

Description: Have you ever gotten a script and had no idea who these characters on the page were or not much had been given to you by the director? Learn the basics of finding and building a real three dimensional character that lives on stage. It will be fun and quite interesting to not only explore a character but to find out new things about yourself.
